Ocean Collection features pressed marine algae, collected on southern California beaches & the Eastern Coast, preserved in glass pendant necklaces. 10% of the proceeds from this collection go to support Mission Blue, who’s founder Dr. Sylvia Earle, works tirelessly to protect ocean habitats by helping to establish “hope spots” around the world. As a young scientist, she gathered, pressed & catalogued over 25,000 different species of marine algae along the Florida coastline - her collection now lives in the Smithsonian.
